West Ham v Spurs 1962-63
The "Heavy Roller" channel on YouTube has just posted West Ham v Spurs from 1962-63 season.
Afraid Hammers were thrashed 1-6.The result left Hammers bottom of the league.
Our line- up: Leslie,Kirkup,Lyall,Peters,Brown,Moore Crawford,Woosnam, Sealey,Byrne,Musgrove.
Any 'oldies" at the match?

If he had stayed there until December, he would have seen a more even game. Eight goals were shared in the away fixture.

dug out the programme from my collection so I would have been there with my dad and uncle who were both Spurs supporters. We would have been on the Paxton Road end because that was where they used to stand. Other than that I have no recollection of the game whatsoever. Judging by the result it is just as well.

I was going to games with my mates by then but can't remember that game !
We had a terrible start to that season but managed to end up 12th with our first win being against Liverpool.

Although I usually watch the highlights of games we've lost, It's to see where our side could improve.

I'll give this one a miss, as I think we improved without my help...
